Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport has been officially announced by the Chinese company. The smartwatch will be launched in China on July 19 at 7pm local time (4:30pm IST) at an annual meeting of Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. Xiaomi says on its social media that the Watch S4 Sport will be the “first professional sports smartwatch ,” with features like a rotating crown and sapphire crystal, and will include many other features in multiple categories

In a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo, Xiaomi revealed details about its upcoming smartwatch. The Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport will have a titanium chassis, which will have sapphire glass on the front and back. It also sports a floating crown placed on the right.
The teaser shared by the Chinese company suggests that it may come with a round dial and buttons under the rotating crown. The smartwatch appears to have two band options, silicon and metal.
While no official details have been revealed, the listing on China’s TAF certification website suggests that the Xiaomi S4 Sport will feature an OLED display. It is specified with a 586mAh battery with 10W charging support and heart rate tracking sensor. The smartwatch is also claimed to support e-SIM capabilities and allow users to make phone calls and reply to text messages without the need for a smartphone.
Other features of the smartwatch may include GPS and NFC capabilities.
